MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

 

 

Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Taking

An individual reported Dec. 11 that after leaving her reading tablet unattended for approximately 20 minutes at a downtown restaurant it was stolen.

Criminal Trespass

A Leo Court resident reported Dec. 12 that the driver’s side window on his vehicle had been broken.

Theft by Taking

A gas station on South Wayne Street reported the theft of $27.16 worth of gasoline Dec. 12.

Theft by Shoplifting

A store in the mall reported Dec. 12 that two females attempted to steal clothing valued at an estimated $1,800 at the time of the report.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

An individual was arrested Dec. 13 and charged with public drunkenness, unlawful possession of a schedule 1 drug, unlawful possession of a schedule 4 drug and prescription drugs not kept in original container. The individual was in possession of Ecstacy and Xanax.
