The victim told officers that he was headed to meet his girlfriend at her residence on Dunlap Road when he saw two females fighting. He stated he was somewhere between the Jet food store, on North Jefferson Street, and Dunlap Road when he saw a physical altercation between the two females taking place.

The man said he went to break up the fight and after it was broken up he realized that he had been stabbed in the upper right arm and shoulder. An MPD officer was notified and arrived on scene at the hospital the following day. Photographs were taken of the victim’s injuries.
