MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

Possession of Cocaine

During a safety point check Nov. 7 an individual was arrested for possession of cocaine after he was observed attempting to stuff an object between the seats of his vehicle. He was later charged with crossing a guard line with drugs when officers stated he tried to hide a baggy containing cocaine into the seats of a patrol vehicle.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported Nov. 12 that after her vehicle was towed she went to recover her personal belongings and discovered a bottle of medication had been taken from inside the car.

Burglary

An Oak Drive resident reported Nov. 12 that someone had broken into his home and stolen a laptop, a camera, a bottle of medication, $50 in change and several checkbooks.

Entering Auto

A man reported Nov. 15 that while his vehicle was parked at a business on Highway 49 his driver’s side front vent window was damaged.

Theft by Taking

A Selma Drive resident reported Nov. 15 that a box of 9mm bullets was missing from his home.

Theft by Taking

A resident of Lake Drive reported that someone stole a furnace on her back porch Nov. 15.

Theft by Taking

A homeowner reported Nov. 14 that she believes a 9mm semi-automatic pistol was stolen from her home while two individuals were working there in September.

Criminal Trespass

An individual was trespassed from a residence on Richard Drive Nov. 11 after it was reported he entered the home in a forceful and verbally abusive manner.
