MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.





Milledgeville Police Department

Criminal Damage to Property

An employee of an apartment on East McIntosh reported a broken window in a laundry facility Dec. 2.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported Dec. 2 that a ring was stolen from her.

Driving While License Suspended

An individual was arrested Dec. 2 after a traffic stop was initiated for failure to maintain lane. The offender provided officers with a false name and it was discovered that his license had been suspended and he had an active warrant.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported Dec. 2 that a man stole a notebook containing her personal banking information while it was at a business on North Columbia Street.

Theft by Taking

A man reported Dec. 2 that his empty trailer had been stolen from where it was parked on Blandy Road.

Theft by Taking

Two individuals living in an apartment on Brantley Way reported Dec. 2 that several items had been stolen from them, including: Oxycodone, DVDs, Playstation games and family heirlooms.

Theft of Service

A taxi driver escorted an individual to the MPD after she informed him he did not have the $13 fee he had required. The individual became belligerent when the driver was asked if he wanted to press charges and confirmed the officer’s question. The individual was charged with theft of service and disorderly conduct.

Criminal Trespass

Damage to the CVB trolley was reported Dec. 4.
