MILLEDGEVILLE — Whether you need to protect your car, home, life, rental property, get tax advice, or rollover a 401(k), Wilkinson Insurance can take care of it all. For more than 37 years, Wilkinson Insurance has taken care of all insurance needs for residents of Middle Georgia by providing quick and reliable service.

Local resident and businessman Carl Wilkinson founded Wilkinson Insurance in the mid-1970s. In 1997, Richard Bentley, currently the mayor of Milledgeville, purchased the insurance agency from Wilkinson. The company has continued to grow into one of the community’s most trusted partners in protecting everything important to the agency's customers. Along with co-owners Ryan and Ashley Harrington, the team strives to carry on the same trusted business for insurance needs Wilkinson initially started.

"We are an independent agency that keeps the customer in mind," said co-owner Ashley Harrington. As an independent insurance agent Wilkinson Insurance can offer the right coverage with an individualized personal touch.

“Whether you have the ideal history preferred companies desire, or a not so perfect history, we find the right coverage, with the best company, at the best price for you,” Harrington said.

This holiday season, Wilkinson Insurance is giving back to the community by providing Christmas gifts to a needy family and a chance for customers to receive a $200 gift card. People can come in or call and get a quote or refer a new customer and they will put their name into a $200 gift card drawing. Five dollars will also be donated in the customer’s name toward an adopted family.

“We will keep up with their donations by writing their name on an ornament and placing it on our charity tree,” said Ryan Harrington.

Tuesday Wilkinson Insurance will draw to pick the $200 gift card winner. For more information on the charity tree or for a quote call (478) 452-5158.

“We are proud to serve Milledgeville and aim to give nothing but the best service possible to all our customers.” said Harrington.
