MILLEDGEVILLE — A Flair for Hair started beautifying Milledgeville eight years ago in November and the salon has been astounding clients ever since. The J. Beverly Hills salon prides itself on top styling equipment, an edgy style and an atmosphere that feels just like family. Owner Jessica Daniels has cultivated a unique salon full of personality and talent and the seven stylists won’t rest until every last hair is perfect for each client.

The salon aims to be much more than a place of physical beauty, however. Recently, Holland felt it was time to do a little more for the community. The salon is no stranger to community service and helping those in need. Every year, the salon participates in the Deep Roots Festival and recently, the salon raffled more than 20 items and gave the funds to Kirsten Powelski to assist with her cancer treatment funds.

A Flair for Hair is asking for donations of non-professional products and in return, the salon will offer 20 percent off items from their professional line of products to replace the client’s donation of shampoo and conditioner. The salon will donate new or barely used shampoo and conditioner to the Salvation Army, the local community and those who have been in disasters and are without shampoo and conditioner.

The salon offers dry and wet cuts, single-process color, partial-foils and all-over foils. The salon also offers professional makeup application of Emani mineral makeup, as well as waxing. A Flair for Hair also excels in creating up-dos and is already booking for proms and wedding season. The salon offers wedding packages as well and free consultations.

A Flair for Hair is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The salon is located at 215 S. Wayne St. and can be reached by phone at (478) 453-4884. Walk-ins are always welcome.
