Inspired Thru Designs readies for grand opening

MILLEDGEVILLE — Husband and wife team Kris and Mendy Jackson are putting the finishing touches on their new clothing store, Inspired Thru Designs, in anticipation of its grand opening later this month.

Inspired Thru Designs aims to add a touch of inspiration to local wardrobes. The downtown store is set to open Aug. 27.

“All the merchandise is ready to go and set up on the shelves. Right now all we have to do is double check all the equipment in the store like the cash register and make sure it’s working right and we'll be ready for the big day," said co-owner Mendy Jackson.

Inspired Thru Designs will have a varied collection of women and men’s apparel, T-shirts, hats, and jewelry that are designed to illustrate the positive and inspirational individual that you are.

The idea for the store came through Jackson’s observations of the images and messaging that was being worn on the clothes of college students around town.

The comfort doesn't end in the inventory. The store itself will also offer a welcoming environment for shoppers to enjoy.

The prices will be reasonable and there will be a wide selection of colors and designs to choose from.

The store is located at 117 West Hancock St. Store hours will be Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
