The Fun! Factory provides fun, safe destination for families

MILLEDGEVILLE — Partners Patti Rushin and Lori Heayberd opened The Fun! Factory in January 2011 after seeing a need for a safe, clean destination for parties and entertainment for the entire family’s enjoyment, with a focus on youth and teens, in the community and surrounding areas. Today, the duo could not have asked for better community support as The Fun! Factory offers a wide range of activities and games for all ages.

The 23,000 square-foot facility offers roller skating, arcade games, air hockey, ping-pong table, Wii games, soft-play gym, tot play area, party rooms for rent, movie projector, skating lessons and a snack bar serving chicken bites, cheese nachos, wings, pizza, grilled hot-dogs, candy and drinks. The music features only clean edits of popular music.

Various organizations, churches, schools, charities and events are also encouraged to raise funds by pre-selling tickets to The Fun! Factory. The Baldwin County Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy will be celebrating the last week of school from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 21 with a portion of the $5 ticket proceeds used to provide free books to local children.

The famous up and coming 10-year old rapper known as “Yung Mieo” is scheduled to make a stop on his tour at The Fun! Factory from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 1 to perform, skate and sign autographs. The young artist’s music movement has transformed into an anti-bullying campaign.

The Fun! Factory will once again kick off a summer program starting Monday, June 11 in partnership with Elite Gymnastics.

Located in the Tractor Supply and Bodyplex shopping center, The Fun! Factory will be open from noon to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday after school is out and continue with normal weekend hours of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, and 3 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The business will be closed on Mother’s Day.
