MILLEDGEVILLE — TenderCare Clinic is a community health center that is located in Greensboro Ga., but residents of Baldwin County do not have to travel to Greene County to receive the same great care that TenderCare offers. In February, a TenderCare Clinic facility opened its doors to residents of Milledgeville, offering a wide range of health services.

“We began working with Oconee Regional to help meet the needs of patient care in Baldwin County and opening a TenderCare in Milledgeville just seemed to be a needed solution to the problem,” said TenderCare Marketing and Employee Relations Coordinator Lynn Hudson.

TenderCare-Family Medical of Milledgeville is located at 111 Fieldstone Dr. and is equipped with an excellent staff.

“The physician assistant there, Kandace Markham, is a native of Milledgeville so to her it’s as if she’s treating her own family,” said Hudson. Along with Markham the staff also includes Health Education Professional Erin Knowles, Patient Account Representative April Tapley and Medical Assistant Crissey Layfield.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It offers family practice, primary care, pediatric and newborn care, women’s health care, occupational medicine, as well as health education classes.

“We’ve got a lot of helpful classes to help people with their health problems such as our diabetes education class or our weight loss class,” Hudson said.

TenderCare-Family Medical of Milledgeville continues to work hard to put the care back in healthcare services.
