MILLEDGEVILLE — Scott Joris worked in the dry cleaning business for 20 years before temporarily halting his time in the industry. It wasn't until a friend of his told him a few years ago that a business was for sale that Joris decided to re-enter the industry and Capital Cleaners was born and four years later, the full service dry cleaners is stronger than ever.

Capital Cleaners cleans both residential and commercial carpets, as well as area rugs, upholstery and vinyl floors.

Professionally cleaned carpets can also remove allergens that become encased in the fibers. During the spring and early summer months, pollen can migrate into the home and cause further allergy issues for sufferers.

Capital Cleaners can also tailor any garment. The business has a seamstress who has a quick turnaround time and satisfaction is guaranteed.

Capital Cleaners recently launched a Facebook page. With each “like” the page receives, the potential customer is entered into a raffle for an Amici gift card.

The business has a $5 button guarantee. If the group ever cracks a button, customers are instructed to bring the shirt back for a $5 bill.

Capital Cleaners is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The carpet cleaning business is open seven days a week. Most appointments can be scheduled on Sunday. For more information about carpet cleaning call Joris at (478) 457-6623. Capital Cleaners can be reached at (478) 452-1755 and is located at 929 N. Columbia St.
