Keith McDonald Plumbing comes to Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE — Located on Meriwether Road, you'll find Don Padgett Plumbing, an excellent resource for all your plumbing needs. As of April, Don Padgett Plumbing was purchased by a new company and is now a division of Keith McDonald Plumbing. Keith McDonald Plumbing, Sewer & Septic operates primarily in Washington, Laurens and surrounding middle Georgia areas, but in April, they purchased Don Padgett Plumbing and have now added Baldwin County to their list of service areas.

"I decided to sell the company because I'm about ready to retire and I felt that maybe it was time to do just that," said Padgett.

When Keith McDonald Plumbing bought the company, they insisted that Padgett stay on until he was ready to retire. His 25 years of experience was considered a great asset to their business.

Although the business is going through a few transitions, the devotion towards offering excellent products and service will not change. As of now, company logos on all equipment and service trucks are in the process of being changed.

“The Don Padgett mark on all the trucks and equipment will probably be phased out by the beginning of next year,” said Padgett. “We thought it'd be a good idea to give the community a chance to get familiar with the new name before we changed everything.”

Keith McDonald Plumbing plans on offering the same quick and dependable service that Don Padgett's Plumbing provided which includes installation and service of septic tanks and sewer systems, drain cleaning, water heater installation and repair, plumbing and remodeling for new construction, sewer line replacement, sewer jetting, as well as video camera and water line inspection.

"We have an impressive resume that includes many large projects in the areas of residential, commercial, educational and medical," said Robin McDonald, business manager for Keith McDonald Plumbing.
