Tuxedo shop prepping for prom season

MILLEDGEVILLE — Since changing hands late last year, Harrold's Formal Wear has been measuring, ordering and outfitting men in Baldwin and surrounding counties for formal outings, including dances, weddings and receptions, continuing a tradition started by former owners and founders Harold and Nathalie Goodrich.

New owners Michael and Danielle Fields are continuing the work, growing the business and preparing for the busy prom season that is just around the corner.

Though the business does not offer dresses for sale, rent or order, Danielle Fields said their tuxedo service affiliations virtually guarantee they can get the exact tuxedo any client wants.

With the new location just one block from the old, now on S. Wayne Street, Harrold's Formal Wear shares retail space with Fields Photography and Framing near J.C. Grant Co. and Baynes Army Store.

Harrold's Formal Wear is open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
