The world of personal finance can be daunting at best for most people. Facing the future while being prepared financially is something Ed Weimer and Stan Charping would encourage to be left up to an individual.

Alliance Financial Partners opened its doors in late summer and started offering full service financial advising for individuals and businesses.

“We are a financial and investment firm providing full service to individuals and businesses in all areas of financial management, including retirement planning, estate planning, investment planning, education funding, risk management (insurance), and employer and executive benefits,” Weimer said.

The duo have been friends for years, but decided to embark on the joint venture after working together at another firm.

Weimer said anyone who is serious about planning for a future life event should learn about the services provided through a financial advisement provider.

“You are never too young or too old to develop and implement a sound financial plan based on your wants and needs,” Weimer said.

Alliance Financial Partners employs Weimer and Charping as well as their office assistant, Ingrid Garner. The business is located at 194 Log Cabin Road in Milledgeville, directly across from John Milledge Academy. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“We also make ourselves available after hours by appointment,” Weimer said.

Weimer said that his one piece of free advice to anyone contemplating obtaining financial advice is to get a plan of action.

“We feel it is imperative for everyone to have a financial plan to help chart their financial future,” he said. “Most people would not go on a road trip without some type of map or directions, would they?”
